Lisa Scotti, BSN, MPH, ACRN
Director at LargeLisa Scotti, BSN, ACRN, MPH has over twelve years of experience with the Johns Hopkins AIDS Service as a clinical nurse working with adult HIV-infected patients. During her tenure she has served as the Nursing Supervisor for the Moore Clinic County Program; as a clinical nurse on The Polk Unit, Johns Hopkins’ AIDS-dedicated inpatient unit; and as a training coordinator for the PA/Mid-Atlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) Johns Hopkins local performance site. Currently she is dually employed with the AETC and the hospital’s Polk Unit where she is caring for patients as well as developing and conducting training for health care workers at Johns Hopkins and throughout Maryland where she focuses primarily on correctional institutions. Lisa is one of the primary creators and implementers of an HIV/AIDS nursing training program done in Pune, India from September 2003 through October 2004. She and her colleagues conducted a needs assessment, developed a curriculum, conducted TOT and performed monitoring and evaluation at Sassoon General Hospital in Pune India. Lisa serves on the board of the Baltimore-based Native American Lifelines, as the President of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care and as a Director-at-Large on the HIV/AIDS National Certification Board. Lisa has been an AIDS Certified Registered Nurse since 2001.
