Pamela W. Williams completed her BSN/RN at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (formerly Northeast Louisiana University) in May 1995. Her prior work experience includes 2 years of Public Health Nursing and 2 years of Neonatal Nursing. For the past 7 years, she has worked in the HIV Ambulatory Care Clinic at LSUHSC Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She worked as a clinic staff nurse for 5 years for adult and pediatric primary HIV care physicians. Over the past 2 years, she has functioned in the roles of Intake RN/Case Manager, HIV Outpatient Prison Clinic RN/Case Manager, Consumer Advisory Board Liaison, and HIV Pregnant Case Manager.
Pamela received her ACRN Certification in April of 2007. She was a founding member of the Baton Rouge Chapter and has served as Secretary and current President of her local chapter; which was the recipient of ANAC’s 2007 Chapter of the Year Award. Pamela was also the recipient of the ANAC Scholarship Award to attend the National Conference in 2005. She has been chosen to serve on the HANCB Executive Board as Director at Large for the term of 2007-2010.
